Assistant Port Engineer

We are currently accepting applications for an Assistant Port Engineer. Position is Monday-Friday, 0800-1600. Applicants must be willing to work nights & weekends if needed for emergency repairs. All applicants must be able to pass pre-employment & random USCG DOT Drug Testing. Applicants are required to fill in as a Deckhand at times if needed.

We are always accepting applications for Capt.'s & Deckhands. Part Time & Full Time employment. While positions may not be currently available, you can still submit an application to be kept on file for future openings. 


Part-Time 50t Master 
C&D Canal Pilot Ops
We are currently accepting applications for Part-Time Captains for our Pilot Vessels in the C&D Canal @ Chesapeake City, MD. Applicants should live relatively close & be willing to do short notice jobs. Captains must arrive at our vessel about 1.5hrs prior to the ships arrival, most jobs take about 30 minutes to complete. A 6hr minimum is paid for each callout. This position could lead to a potential Full-Time position. Applicants should have good twin screw & single screw boat handling experience, must be able to pass random DOT drug testing & have some basic mechanical knowledge.
